Beams opened a joint shop for two of their brands: Beams EX, for men who express themselves through fashion and lifestyle products both in and outside the workplace, and Demi-Luxe Beams, for women with an independent sense of style. Located along a pedestrian route connected to Osaka Station, the store is one of the main destination shop for the Grand Front shopping center. A dominating feature of the space is the long and gently curving walkway of the corridor facing the shop's windows and entrance. Jamo uses various devices to bring customers in from this walkway, in particular a diamond-patterned wall panel made of sycamore is designed to stop passers-by and draw their attention into the store and accessories fixtures are placed at the entrance so passers-by don't have to go far to inspect these highly buyable items. With the aim of keeping the interior upmarket, the space uses traditional, timeless elements and soft lighting. Jamo's aim was to create a shop that piques the interest of men and women who have outgrown younger, brasher shops.
